Who cares for caregivers

Meenaksi is a health care worker living and working in a town 30 kms away from the union territory of Pondicherry in southern India. As she walks long distances to reach her patients, who are mostly women and children, she discusses the apathy and indifference of the state towards her work, the burden of increasing digitization and how it impairs her from the crucial work the last mile caregiver for the residents of Bantur (name changed for privacy).
